Wade finally gets a deserved award

Wade and four other player were awarded on Wednesday the first team all NBA overall. On the first NBA overall team were LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers, Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat, Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks, and Dwight Howard from the Orlando Magic to round it off. On the second all NBA team was Chris Paul from the New Orleans Hornets, Brandon Roy from the Portland TrailBlazers, Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs, Paul Pierce from the Boston Celtics, and Yao Ming of the Houston Rockets. The Third overall NBA team was also announced with Chauncey Billups, Tony Parker, Pau Gasol, Carmelo Anthony, and Shaquilled O'Neal. Finally Dwyane was awarded something that he actually deserved. After not getting the MVP award and not getting a spot on the all NBA defensive team. He earns his first spot on the All NBA team for the first time in his career. I'm not surprised at any of the selections. Only thing that I am surprised about is that Danny Granger did not get a spot on the the team. After he made it to the all star for the first time in his career and he averaged 26 points a game. Do you think that somebody else should have been awared to on of the all NBA teams. Or should anyone be taken off the team? Got any people on your mind?

Jason Taylor back with the Dolphins

Jason Taylor after leaving one year from the Miami Dolphins. Went on to the Washington Redskins and had an off year of only 3.5 sacks and 29 tackles in 13 games. While the year before in his last year with the Miami Dolphins he played 16 games. Had 56 tackles, eleven sacks, and 4 forced fumbles. I think the cold weather effected him because he has been in the warm weather in Miami for his whole career. I think it was good for him to come back to Miami because he made a statement saying that he is in his heart a true Dolphin. This should improve our defense a lot. Miami's defense struggles with their inexperienced defensive ends and now add a pro bowler to their defensive line. Now that Washington added one of the best defensive tackles in the NFL Albert Hanyesworth. There was no need for Jason Taylor. The Redskins and Taylor did not see eye to eye and Taylor became a free agent. Jason Taylor was talking to a few teams including the New England Patriots who was really close to signing Jason Taylor. Was offered 8 million by the Reskins but denied and took the one million deal with the Dolphins. Now that is a true player for the Dolphins to do something like that. Usually players would always take the higher salary in a heart beat. With the addition of Jason Taylor do you think we can make the playoffs again with a more experienced Miami Dolphins team.

All NBA defensive team announced/Dwyane Wade issue

The defensive first team in the NBA was announced on Wednesday. Dwight Howard was the leading vote getter for the ballot and he was earlier announced defensive player of the year and now his defense is also awarded and all NBA first Defensive team. An all nba defensive team is when they people vote on who they think was the best 5 defensive players of the league. Who was also awarded on the team with Dwight Howard is Kevin Garnett, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Chris Paul. Dwight Howard led the league with 14 rebounds a game and 3 blocks a game. Chris Paul led the league in steals with 2.8 a game. LeBron, Kobe, and Kevin are already well known defensive player and give it all they got everynight. Each player always makes it difficult for the opponent to score. The all NBA second defensive team was also announced which included Dwyane Wade, Tim Duncan, Rajon Rondo, and the duo out of Houston which is Ron Artest and Shane Battier. I was a little shocked when I saw it because I think the Dwyane Wade should have made the all NBA defensive team. Because on defense I think this season he was a lot better the James and Bryant on defense. Also he in my opinion did deserve the MVP award because of the numbers he put up. Its not that he didn't get is what shocks. Is that he came in third place in the MVP ballot. Are you kidding me? Third Place. I mean second I would understand but third is unacceptable. He put up better numbers than Lebron and Kobe and also had a better defensive year in a landslide. This where popularity comes into place. Do you thinks its just that we don't care about the stats. Its just we vote on who we know the most when more than half of us don't even know what numbers they are putting up?

New NBA PLayoff Update

The first round of the NBA playoffs is over and there was somewhat a little shockers in the first round. One was the Houston Rockets beating the Blazers in six. Here are the teams advancing: the Cavaliers, Atlanta Hawks, Orlando Magic, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets, Dallas Mavericks, and the Houston Rockets. Some people have been questioning on the Rockets lately saying that they are better without T-Mac. They have been playing better without him during the season and the team finally passed the first round for the first time in over more than 10 years. I personally do not think they are better without T-Mac because I don't think they are going to make it far in the playoffs without their go to guy. They need him when it comes to close ball games and they need a closer. If Tracy McGrady gets let go from the Rockets and hit free agency it would be a shame if barely any teams are missing out. He has just had some injury problems and thats whats been holding him back. Just wait until he gets healthy again and he will be the same scoring McGrady again like he was in his Orlando Days averaging 30 points a game. Anyways, as the second round proceeds there was a shcoker in the Rockets and Lakers game as the Rockets won game 1 by a final score of 100-92. The Orlando Magic also won game one by beating the Boston Celtics 95-90. Denver has taken a easy 2-0 lead on the Dallas Mavericks beating the Mavericks both games by double digits. I have changed my prediction to of Cleveland Cavaliers and the Los Angeles Lakers. My prediction is now the Orlando Magic and the Los Angeles Lakers. And I have the Los Angeles Lakers winning in 6 games.
