New NBA PLayoff Update
The first round of the NBA playoffs is over and there was somewhat a little shockers in the first round. One was the Houston Rockets beating the Blazers in six. Here are the teams advancing: the Cavaliers, Atlanta Hawks, Orlando Magic, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets, Dallas Mavericks, and the Houston Rockets. Some people have been questioning on the Rockets lately saying that they are better without T-Mac. They have been playing better without him during the season and the team finally passed the first round for the first time in over more than 10 years. I personally do not think they are better without T-Mac because I don't think they are going to make it far in the playoffs without their go to guy. They need him when it comes to close ball games and they need a closer. If Tracy McGrady gets let go from the Rockets and hit free agency it would be a shame if barely any teams are missing out. He has just had some injury problems and thats whats been holding him back. Just wait until he gets healthy again and he will be the same scoring McGrady again like he was in his Orlando Days averaging 30 points a game. Anyways, as the second round proceeds there was a shcoker in the Rockets and Lakers game as the Rockets won game 1 by a final score of 100-92. The Orlando Magic also won game one by beating the Boston Celtics 95-90. Denver has taken a easy 2-0 lead on the Dallas Mavericks beating the Mavericks both games by double digits. I have changed my prediction to of Cleveland Cavaliers and the Los Angeles Lakers. My prediction is now the Orlando Magic and the Los Angeles Lakers. And I have the Los Angeles Lakers winning in 6 games.

After the way the Magic played last night, I think they are capable of taking Cleveland down to the wire. I would've had them out in 6 games, but I believe that they are capable of winning the series if the bring it all every night. And I would've liked to see the Lakers lose that last series but now that they are in the conference finals, I think its a complete toss-up. Carmelo and Billups have to keep up the way they have been playing lately, I think they can beat out the Lakers in 5 maybe 6 games.
